In response to Arkansas Ready for Learning, the DESE invites you to participate in our statewide Blended Learning Needs Assessment for school districts. Only one response is required per district. All responses should be submitted by close of business on June 15, 2020. A copy of the survey has been attached for viewing and planning purposes prior to submitting in the online portal linked below. We ask that you work with your Ready for Learning Planning Team to formulate your answers before getting started. Some of the questions may require you to seek additional input from key district personnel. The results will be used by the DESE in assisting schools and educational service cooperatives for preparing for the 2020-2021 school year.
When preparing to answer the survey questions please consider the following categories:
- Learning Management Systems (current, planned)
- Content (synchronous and asynchronous - online/offline)
- Student/teacher devices
- Connectivity (school, home, teacher, student)
- Professional development and connections to digital opportunities

The survey consists of 22 questions and should take approximately 25-30 minutes to complete.
