Candidate Orientation
The 2021 new candidate orientation will be held on May 8, 2021 from 9:00 to 12:00. Complete the Google form to register found HERE.
Congratulations to the newly certified NBCTs
Congratulations to each of our new National Board Certified Teachers! The newly 2020-2021 certified NBCTs can be found on the National Board page HERE. A recognition of new National Board Certified Teachers will be made at the May 13th State Board Meeting. The link to watch the State Board meeting is available HERE. A celebratory video presentation will be posted on the DESE website and social media on Friday, May 14, 2021.
Bonus Payments
Bonus payments for 2020-2021 school year will be paid prior to June 1. There is no longer a Profile requirement for recipients to complete. Bonus confirmation and distribution are coordinated directly with each school district, education service cooperative, or institution of higher education.
Component Cost Reimbursement
Reimbursement of one component may be available after bonuses are paid. This reimbursement is for candidates with passing scores who have not received previous support funding. Interested candidates may review and return the attached Reimbursement Application. The application is due no later than May 14, 2021.
