State
Mandated Inspections are those inspections required by various state agencies
to assure occupant health and safety in public K-12 facilities in Arkansas.
The
Division of Public School Academic Facilities and Transportation (Division) is hereby reminding each
school district that all State Mandated Inspections for the 2020-2021 school
year must be completed and closed-out in the State required computerized
maintenance management system, SchoolDude, by June 30, 2021, deadline.
All
semi-annual State Mandated Inspections should be closed-out when the second
requirement of the State Mandated Inspection has been/was completed. All annual State Mandated Inspections should
be closed out on the actual completion date, as early completions without
documentation require further investigation.
The
results for each State Mandated Inspection for each school district will be
listed in a detailed report to the Commission for Arkansas Public School Academic
Facilities and Transportation, and then forwarded to the Governor of the State
of Arkansas, House Committee on Education, Senate Committee on Education,
Academic Facilities Oversight Committee, Bureau of Legislative Audit, and the
particular members of the State House of Representatives and State Senate.
