Memo Text

Division of Elementary and Secondary Education is partnering with AR PBS again to bring quality programming and customized content right to your home. This summer, a group of all-star educators are bringing the magic of the classroom straight to your student's home with RISE AND SHINE! Kids can jumpstart their mornings with televised mini-lessons provided by Arkansas teachers and a hand-picked selection of educational programming from Arkansas PBS to address essential learning for students in K-5.

We are asking school districts to distribute the attached flyer to all K-5 students to assist with address learning loss for students within the summer.

Programming will premier Tuesday July 6 and continuing every weekday for six weeks. Grades K-2 will begin daily at 8 a.m. Grades 3-5 will start at 9:45 a.m.

Families or Summer Programs can tune in to Arkansas PBS, stream at myarpbs.org/watchlive or watch on-demand through the Engage Arkansas PBS app/PBS Video app/streaming devices. See all the ways to watch at myarpbs.org/watch.
