A.C.A. § 6-20-2204 requires all Superintendents,
Education Service Cooperative Directors, Open-Enrollment Public Charter School
Directors, and “a person whose job responsibilities include preparing the
budget or overall accounting responsibility” for the district to attend Tier I
Training each year.
The Tier I Training can also be used to meet the
Tier 2 training requirement. Tier 2 Training is required for all district
employees who are involved in the process of recording and/or reporting school
or district financial transactions.
