The
Arkansas Department of Education (ADE): Division of Elementary and Secondary
Education (DESE) is requesting school districts to update their Education Service
Cooperative Director’s; Districts Superintendents; School Principals and other
school district personnel information for the upcoming school year, 2021-2022.
It
is imperative that the information is up-to-date on a regular basis as it is
used by several ADE: DESE Program Offices; Communication Office and other
stakeholders to reach out to with the latest and up-to-date information around
Education in the State of Arkansas. Additionally, the information is used to
cross-reference access for various ADE Educational Information Systems as
listed below:

- Discretionary Grants Management System | D-GMS
- Federal Grant Management System | FGMS
- Course Approval System | CAS
- Standards for Accreditation | SFA
- Assessment Correction Engine | ACE

- School Personnel Directory | SPD
- LEA - Locator
The
information is updated by a districts’ APSCN-SIS Cycle Coordinator using the ADE Statewide Information System (SIS) and
resides on the LEA Profile module of
the ADE SIS web application -- which is used to certify Cycle 1 through Cycle 9
data submission. The update process is now cycle independent and can be updated
anytime of the year – as needed.
The
information for ADE SIS LEA Profile: Contact Person / School Personnel is
updated on a daily basis and displayed on the ADE Data Center: School Personnel Directory (SPD) web tool.
