The Arkansas Association of Educational Administrators (AAEA) is supporting the work of the Arkansas Department of Education by hosting a Fall Conference on October 20, 2021, featuring Dr. Chris Weber. Dr. Weber is the author of the book, Behavior: The Forgotten Curriculum. Participants may choose to attend in person at the Hot Springs Convention Center or via Zoom. The conference will begin at 8:00 and end at 3:30. Dr. Weber will be providing guidance on creating an RTI process for behavior. Keynote Speaker:
Chris Weber, EdD, is an expert in behavior, mathematics, and response to intervention who presents internationally to audiences on important topics in education. As a principal and district office administrator in California and Chicago, Dr. Weber and his colleagues developed RTI systems that have led to high levels of learning at schools across the country. His books have sold over 270,000 copies. In addition to writing and presenting, he continues to work with teachers and students every day as STEM Director in Irvine Unified School District.
Dr. Weber has been in service to community and country his entire life. A graduate of the US Air Force Academy, he flew C-141s during his military career. He is also a former high school, middle school, and elementary school teacher and administrator.
