In accordance with Ark. Code Ann. A.C.A. § 6-10-128, as amended by Acts 551 and 622 of 2021, the Arkansas Center for School Safety (the Center) is collecting information regarding school resource officer (SRO) programs in school districts/open enrollment charter schools. The information collected will be confidential and allow the Center to monitor compliance in meeting the training requirements added by these Acts.

There are two forms used for this process. Form 1 is to collect information about the district/school and Form 2 is to collect information about the district/school’s SRO(s).  All districts/schools should complete and submit Form 1. If your district/school does not have a SRO, you only submit Form 1.  If your district/school does have an SRO program, you will also need to complete and submit Form 2 for each individual SRO.

These forms are available on the Center website at https://arsafeschools.com/act-551-and-622-2021/. The deadline for completion is December 8, 2021.
