Memo Text

The Office of Education Renewal Zones (ERZs) is pleased to announce, sponsor, and support Cohort III in their pursuit of the High Reliability Teacher (HRT) Certification. The HRT certification encourages and celebrates teacher effectiveness.  Participants will receive intensive support as they implement and deepen their understanding of instructional strategies and student learning for a cycle of continuous improvement. The ERZs provide an opportunity for the candidates to complete the first two courses of the certification which is developed and supported by Marzano Resources.

The High Reliability Teacher certification has three certification levels with coursework and coaching at each level. At the completion of levels 1 and 2, an educator qualifies for the Master Teacher Professional designation, a career continuum for teachers who love to teach and want to impact students from the classroom.  The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) recognizes the critical role of teacher efficacy in student achievement, and the Master Teacher Professional designation is one opportunity ADE has established to reward excellent teachers and keep their talents in the classroom.

Congratulations to the following Cohort III HRT candidates:
