Guidance for Adopting School Calendars

Memo Text

Pursuant to Act 217 of the 2022 Fiscal Session, the first day of school must be on or after July 1, 2022, for the 2022-2023 school year only.

To expedite monitoring of district calendars, the district calendar should include:

Number of days in each quarter
Number of student contact days
Number of instructional hours/minutes per day
