A.C.A. § 6-61-124 requires that at the end of each semester all Arkansas state-supported colleges and universities report to the DESE all minority (6-61-124 defines minority as African-American, Hispanic American, Asian American, and Native American) candidates who have met all requirements to be recommended for a license as a public school teacher, counselor, and other endorsed areas. This report is required of all educator preparation providers for continued state program approval per the Rules Governing Educator Licensure effective spring 2018.

The fall 2021 minority candidate report is available upon request. The list includes candidate name, mailing address, email address, educator license, and degree major or minor. Please contact Michael.Rowland@ade.arkansas.gov for access to the report.
