A.C.A. § 6-61-124 requires that at the end of each semester all Arkansas state-supported colleges and universities report to the DESE all minority candidates who have met all requirements to be recommended for a license as a public school teacher, counselor, and other endorsed areas. This report is required of all educator preparation providers for continued state program approval per the Rules Governing Educator Licensure effective spring 2018.

6-61-124 defines minority as African-American, Hispanic American, Asian American, and Native American.
