Memo Text

The Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), Educator Effectiveness and Licensure Division continues to support districts in the transition from EdReflect to the Educator Effectiveness System platform.

Platform Summer Professional Development

The DESE offers two state-wide options this summer for professional learning.  Additional trainings may be available through local Educational Service Cooperatives.

Option 1:  Virtual one-hour, state-wide trainings by role (Organizational Administrator, Observer, Learner) are available HERE. Attendees register through ESC Works which includes the Zoom link. Professional development credit will be given by the DESE following attendance of each session.

Option 2:  Videos and presentations by role (Organizational Administrator, Observer, Learner) are available HERE. Each linked presentation contains username and password information to access the applicable demonstration account. The content presented is the same as option 1.

Educator Effectiveness System Platform Access

The new platform is active and can be accessed HERE. Educators may consider bookmarking or adding the page to their desktops for quick access. Access requires an individual’s APSCN username and password.  Contact your district APSCN manager for assistance.

District Organizational Administrators

No changes were made to the statute, rules, or requirements of TESS and LEADS.  Each district will continue to have an organizational administrator to serve as the main contact with the Department.  Submit your 2022-2023 district organizational administrator HERE.
