Memo Text

The School Performance Unit has released the 2022-2023 LEA Data Crosswalk for public review. The LEA Data Crosswalk is based on LEA Assignment requests provided by Research and Technology, school information provided by districts, and Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) leadership approval.

A crosswalk ensures that historical performance data from a school follows a school when it changes grade band, changes an LEA number, is annexed by another school, or is combined with another school from one year to the following year. In addition to historical data, the LEA Data Crosswalk tracks changes to feeder schools, schools exempt from ratings, and charter schools.

Districts are advised to review the 2022-2023 LEA Data Crosswalk to verify that the crosswalk reflects all LEA Insights reconfiguration requests made in the 2021-2022 school year. Please submit feedback to Michelle Harpe at michelle.harpe@ade.arkansas.gov by October 13, 2022.
