2022 Private Review of ESSA School Index
Window Open September 26 - October 03, 2022
Arkansas Division of Elementary and
Secondary Education (DESE) has made the 2022 Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA)
School Index and School Rating (Accountability-at-a-Glance) reports available
to schools for private viewing via My School Info. School ratings
(letter grades) have returned for the 2021-2022 school year.
This private viewing (requires log-on to
MSI) allows schools to access 2022 data to:
- Provide
DESE with information about any incorrect placement of data in the
reports;
- Review
school-level improvement plans and utilize data to make revisions that
better meet the needs of students; and
- Plan communication for the public release of the reports
and engagement with stakeholders in the community.
Review
Process
Schools are encouraged to review the
2022 ESSA School Index and School Rating (Accountability-at-a-Glance) reports
and submit any recommendations for changes to the reports or checks of the
calculations as per the 2022 Business Rules for
Calculating the ESSA School Index Scores to the School
Performance Office at ade.schmail@ade.arkansas.gov by 4:00 p.m.
Monday, October 03, 2022. The district must provide evidence supporting the
corrections, the old values in the report, and the requested values.
Users may access the private 2022 Every
Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) School Index and School Rating reports through My
School Info by using their existing State Active Directory (SSO)
credentials to log in. The reports do not include features that allow districts
to submit data corrections.

parents, staff, media and communities.
We hope this toolkit will provide districts with information and

custom materials. The toolkit includes:
