The Adjusted Cohort
Graduation Rates System (ACGRS) will be open from October 31- November 14,
2022. ACGRS allows authorized district staff to validate graduation status for
actual graduates that may reflect as non-graduates, delete on-time students who
have transferred out, and add actual graduates not submitted in a cycle
submission.
All corrections with
proper documentation must be completed no later than 5 PM on November 14, 2022.
Documentation must be uploaded into ACGRS for each correction. Failure to
complete this action will result in an automatic denial. Superintendents must
certify data regardless if corrections are made on behalf of the school or
district. The U.S. Department of Education’s Non-Regulatory Guidance for High School Graduation Rate will be used
to decide whether corrections are allowable.
ACGRS is designed to
improve the data quality used to calculate the four-year and five-year adjusted
cohort graduation rates at the school, district, and state levels. ACGRS
includes two adjusted cohorts of students. 2022 four-year and 2022 five-year
adjusted cohorts start with different groups of students, therefore it is
essential to review both cohorts carefully. The figure below illustrates which
students are included.
