2022 School Report Card to be released to the public
December 30, 2022
The Arkansas Division of Elementary and Secondary
Education (DESE) has released the 2022 School Report Card for private viewing
on My School
Info. The 2022 School Report
Card will be available for public viewing on December 30, 2022. Please use the
following link to access Report Card Review video: How to View Report Card.
The Arkansas School
Report Card provides comprehensive data for each school, district, and the
State of Arkansas. Information in the report card pulls from the certified
cycle and graduation data submitted to DESE. Colored indicators reflect the
current data status for each module. All modules will be completed by April 15,
2023.
Additional information about the Arkansas School Report
Card can be accessed at the following link: Division of Elementary and Secondary Education - Offices -
Public School Accountability - School Performance and Monitoring - Reporting.
The school reports provide a communication framework to
encourage dialogue and inform decisions within each school community.
School-level improvement plans and district support plans may be updated as schools
and districts review the data. All stakeholders are encouraged to participate
in these discussions. After exploring the School Report Card, please complete
the survey to provide DESE with feedback and suggestions for improvement:
School Report Card Survey (English or Spanish).
Draft Business Rules for the 2022 Statewide
Report Card
To better communicate
the source of data, the School Performance Office is seeking feedback on the
first ever draft of the Business Rules for the
2022 Statewide Report Card. School personnel are encouraged to
review the Draft Business Rules and submit any recommendations, questions, and
clarifications to Louis Ferren at louis.ferren@ade.arkansas.gov by 5:00 p.m. on
Friday, January 20, 2023.
Communication Toolkit
DESE has prepared a communications toolkit to provide
resources to help school officials prepare as districts communicate information
about the school’s accountability reports to students, parents, staff, media
and communities. The toolkit includes:
Private View Access
To access the private
view of the School Report Card, please go to myschoolinfo.arkansas.gov. Log in using
State Active Directory credentials. The School Report Card can be found in two
places: the Report Card button at the top of the My School Info homepage or on the Reports tab of a school or
district report.
Superintendents,
Assistant Superintendents, and Principals can add up to 10 additional users
from their districts and schools, respectively, by logging into the My School
Info secured site.
It is important
to note that all assessment, graduation, and cycle data that is reported has
been certified, thus the purpose of this private review is NOT a corrections
period. This review ensures the report card for each school and district is
accurate and provides districts the opportunity to develop their communication
plan for families and community members. Please report any suspected errors or
concerns to ade.schmail@ade.arkansas.gov or call the
School Performance Unit at 501-682-7339 before 4:00 pm on Wednesday, December
21, 2022.
