On January 10, 2023, Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders was sworn in as the 47thGovernor of Arkansas.  Governor Huckabee Sanders is committed to being Arkansas’ education governor and is leading with bold education reforms for the state.  Included in this memo are Governor Sanders's Inaugural Address remarks as well as three of the signed executive orders related to education:  

 

  • EO 23-05 Executive Order to Prohibit Indoctrination and Critical Race Theory in Schools
  • EO 23-06 Executive Order to Protect State Information and Communications Technology From the Influence of the Adversarial Foreign Governments 
  • EO 23-07 Executive Order to Respect the Latino Community by Eliminating Culturally Insensitive Words From Official Use in Government.
