Memo Text
The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) will continue to provide access to College and Career Readiness (CCR) tools for Arkansas school districts for the 2024-2026 school years. Each vendor provides interest inventories, career exploration, and college and career planning tools. ADE will provide the selected tool to districts at no cost to the district for students in grades 8-12. Some vendors may offer additional services or tools for additional grade levels that are not included in the state contract and districts may choose to add those services for additional costs to the district.
Districts have until May 5, 2023 to make a selection for the final three years of the contract cycle. Once a selection is made, it remains final for three years and schools are expected to utilize the tool to enhance the development and implementation of Student Success Plans to help guide students along high school pathways to graduation that prepares them for postsecondary opportunities.
ADE recently hosted a virtual vendor fair for the CCR tools that are part of the state contract. Districts may access presentations, vendor contact information, and recordings from the CCR Tool Vendor Fair below. Districts will use this survey link to make vendor selection no later than May 5, 2023. If no selection is made by a district, that district will automatically opt out of receiving services from any of the selected vendors under the current ADE contract.
