The Arkansas Department of Education, Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) gives notice of the following proposed changes
to administrative rules with a public comment period ending on July 14, 2024:
The DESE Rule Governing the Arkansas Educational Support and Accountability Act (AESSA), with a public
comment hearing date of June 28, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.
The DESE Rule Governing the Arkansas Better Chance Program,
with a public comment hearing date of June 28, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.
The DESE Rule Governing Community Service and Diploma Requirements, with a public comment
hearing date of June 28, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.
The DESE Rule Governing Career-Ready Pathways to Diploma, with a
public comment hearing date of June 28, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.
The DESE Rule Governing Standards for Accreditation of Arkansas Public
Schools and Public School Districts, with a public
comment hearing date of June 28, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.
The DESE Rule Governing Math Intervention, with a
public comment hearing date of June 28, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.
The DESE Rule Governing Documents Posted to School District and
Education Service Cooperative Websites, with a public comment hearing date of June 28, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.
The above-entitled public comment hearings will be held at
the Arkansas Department of Education, Arch Ford Building, Four Capitol Mall,
Little Rock, AR, 72201. Written comments regarding these proposed rules may be
