The Arkansas Department of Education, Division of Secondary and Elementary Education (DESE) gives notice of the following proposed changes to administrative rules with a public comment period ending on October 1, 2024:

The DESE OEC Rule Governing the Arkansas Better Chance Program, with a public comment hearing date of September 20, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.

The DESE OEC Rule Governing Better Beginnings Tiered Quality Rating and Improvement System, with a public comment hearing date of September 20, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.

The DESE Rule Governing Career-Ready Pathways to Diploma, with a public comment hearing date of September 20, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.

The DESE Rule Governing Standards for Accreditation of Arkansas Public Schools and Public School Districts, with a public comment hearing date of September 20, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.

The DESE Rule Governing Documents Posted to School District and Education Service Cooperative Websites, with a public comment hearing date of September 20, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. 

The above-entitled public comment hearings will be held at the Arkansas Department of Education, Arch Ford Building, Four Capitol Mall, Little Rock, AR, 72201. Written comments regarding these proposed rules may be mailed to: ADE Legal Services, Four Capitol Mall, Room 302A, Little Rock, AR, 72201.  Comments also may be emailed to ADE.RulesComments@ade.arkansas.gov. Copies of the proposed rules may be accessed on the DESE website at: https://dese.ade.arkansas.gov/Offices/legal/rules/pending.
