Memo Text

The Division of Elementary and Secondary Education Office of Public School Accountability would like to announce the opening of the 7th implementation phase of the online enrollment application, PowerSchool Enrollment (PSE).  School districts that are interested in utilizing the PowerSchool Enrollment product may apply for phase seven.

PowerSchool Enrollment is an online student registration tool that allows parents to register their student(s) by completing an online registration form that has upload capabilities for documentation such as birth certificate, proof of residency, shot records, home language survey, and more. The Online Enrollment tool gives school districts the ability to allow parents of new students and returning students (students currently enrolled) to input demographic information online avoiding the duplicative paper processes.  Information from the online enrollment portal is then uploaded to eSchoolPlus after being verified by district personnel.

There will be an opportunity for districts to use the Enrollment product’s New Student form beginning in the pre-registration timeframe for kindergarten round-up in February, 2025. The Returning Student form can be used shortly after the district’s eSchool database has completed the rollover process at the end of the school year. To be considered, please complete the online form (click here) by November 1, 2024.  Applying districts will be required to adhere to specific guidelines (see attached fact-sheet) and processes to ensure a successful implementation of the Enrollment product.

There will be required training sessions for key district personnel, documentation requirements, district communication plans for parents/community, and additional support components to assist with a smooth transition to this online process. Due to the increased workload for transitioning schools to PSE, there will be a limited number of slots available for districts so, if interested, please apply early. APSCN will notify the selected district's contact (listed on the application form) of their application status by November 15, 2024.

Districts currently using the Enrollment application that plan to discontinue use for the upcoming school year will need to complete the Enrollment Usage form (click here) no later than December 31, 2024.
