The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE): Office of
Information Technology (OIT) is excited to announce the successful upgrade and
migration of the APSCN website from https://apscn.org/
to its new home at https://apscn.ade.arkansas.gov/.
This transition represents a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to
enhance user experience, improve functionality, and provide a secure, modern
platform for all stakeholders. Below is an overview of the new features and
improvements:

Intuitive Navigation

clean, user-friendly interface.

Reports, security, SIS, FMS, SMS, Cognos and module orientation have been
kept similar to the old site (by purpose).

capabilities along with Search by module feature to easily locate
resources, forms, and documentation.
- Streamlined login
process (State Active directory for school district users)
for accessing secure areas of the site.
- Improved Security
- Enhanced cybersecurity
measures to protect user data and ensure compliance with state and
federal regulations.
- Regularly updated SSL
encryption and multi-factor authentication enabled for ADE content
creators and message board publishers for secure access.
- Integrated Resources and
Tools
- Addition of Message
Board module.
- Consolidated resources
for educators, administrators, and parents in one convenient location.
- Accessibility Compliance
- Designed to meet ADA
(Americans with Disabilities Act) standards to ensure accessibility for
all users.
- Features such as screen
reader compatibility, text resizing, and high-contrast modes.
Transition Highlights
- Seamless Migration: All existing content
and resources have been migrated to the new website. You can continue to
access the tools and information you rely on without interruption.
- Redirection in Place: The old website URL
will automatically redirect users to the new website for a limited time to
ease the transition.
