Please review the following procedures for the 2024-25 Standards for Accreditation final corrections window.

April 1, 2025

Districts with outstanding standards violations will receive notification from the DESE outlining the required corrective actions, which must be completed within 15 calendar days.

Failure to correct any violation of the Standards for Accreditation may result in your district being placed in Cited or Probation status.

April 15, 2025

Districts will receive notification of the recommended Accreditation status that will be submitted to the State Board of Education for review and final determination.

If a district disagrees with their recommended Accreditation status, a written appeal must be submitted to the Standards for Accreditation and Monitoring Unit by May 1, 2025 via the Appeal to the State Board of Education Form.
