The Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) would like to remind districts that the AR App must be uploaded as a Google Sheets link to Indistar no later than June 30, 2025, to secure preliminary approval for federal funding. As a reminder, districts must also submit their school board approved and signed GEPA and assurances. The AR App workbook is not required to be board approved. If your team needs assistance with submitting the AR App workbook to Indistar, please refer to this instructional video for a step-by-step walkthrough of the upload process.
Following submission, ADE staff will review each application individually. If revisions are needed, staff will leave comments directly within the workbook and tag the district’s primary AR App contact. Districts should not resolve any open comments. Once the review is complete, districts will receive a notification through Indistar indicating either approval or a request for resubmission after revisions are made.
