The Division of Career and Technical Education is pleased to release the K-12 Educator Guide for Secondary Career Centers. This guide will provide school administrators and counselors the course codes needed for students attending any Secondary Career Center in the state.
This guide will serve as your official guide in what course codes need to be utilized to ensure students are earning the appropriate credit for Career and Technical (CTE) Pathways to meet Merit or Distinction opportunity for students within school accountability.
The guide will provide information about each Secondary Career Center and the pathways they offer as well as the center director contact for each center.
The pathways are outlined with each course code for level one and each course beyond. The school needs to follow the sequence of courses in this guide. The Secondary Career Center will no longer provide schools the course code number that information can be found in this guide. For any students taking beyond the course codes provided they will use the additional course codes that can be found on the final page of this guide.
