Results include students in Grades 3 through high school and allow districts to begin analyzing performance using the ATLAS Performance Level Descriptors. Accessing the Data Educators may access results through the login credentials provided to their District Test Coordinators (DTCs). The ATLAS portal will remain open for users through July 28. From July 29–31, the portal will undergo a system update and user accounts will be reset. The reporting system will reopen on August 1, at which time DTCs will need to re-establish user access and assign roles for reporting. Tools, Resources, and Training for Educators The Office of Student Assessment, in collaboration with the Office of Learning Services, is providing professional development on ATLAS implementation across the state. Sessions are being held at regional educational cooperatives and include: A facilitator’s guide A training slide deck Support for district-level redelivery Remaining training dates, locations, and registration details are available through ESCWorks. Getting Started with Your Data Making the Most of Your Data Leading with Your Data Each module contains “bite-size” training resources for educators at all levels of proficiency around data interpretation. Parent Access to Student Results in the ATLAS Portal Beginning July 9, parents and guardians will be able to access their child’s individual ATLAS assessment results through the ATLAS parent portal. To ensure successful access, districts are responsible for distributing login credentials to families and clearly communicating how to interpret student scores. Guidance on how to distribute parent login codes is available here. New Family Toolkit Now Available A Family Toolkit is now available on the DESE website, offering resources to help families understand and support their child’s learning. Key tools include: A guide to interpreting ATLAS student reports Learning targets and at-home activities to reinforce classroom instruction A parent-teacher conference planning tool Districts are encouraged to share this page with families as part of their communication plan.
