Memo Text

The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission’s inaugural Generation Conservation Education Summit will be held November 5–6, 2025.

The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission’s Generation Conservation initiative aims to provide an authentic learning environment for teachers and K-12 students in Arkansas to engage and compete in AGFC programming and offerings.

This educational summit brings awareness to the role that AGFC plays in the state, creating spaces for students and educators to learn directly from conservation professionals and will provide K–12 students and teachers from across the state a unique opportunity to compete, collaborate, and connect with conservation professionals.

Each participating school may bring up to 24 students to compete in a variety of conservation-themed challenges for prizes, recognition, and possible additional funding for their school.

To ensure participation, please note the following important deadlines:

  • August 29, 2025 – Deadline for regional and pre-competition sign-up
  • October 1, 2025 – Deadline for final on-site (Summit) competition sign-up

Registration, competition subjects, and event details, including dates and location, are available at: www.agfc.com/education/generation-conservation/
