The Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) School-Based Health Center team will host an informational webinar on Monday, December 8, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. This event is intended for academic leaders, school health leaders, and community practitioners interested in learning more about the Arkansas School-Based Health Center Grant.  

Webinar participants will gain knowledge in the following areas:

• In-depth description of a school-based health center
• Benefits and challenges of operating a center, with examples
• Funding opportunities to support school-based health centers
• Practical steps for establishing a school-based health center
• Upcoming modifications to the grant and application process
