Memo Text
Administrators now have access to 2025 teacher growth scores as well as updated three-year average teacher growth scores through the LEA Insights Teacher Growth Score Data and Trends Module. This module allows administrators to see composite and subject specific growth scores for their current teachers. This data can be used to better understand a teacher’s impact on student learning as well as to identify teachers with three-year growth scores in the top quartile for ELA and Math, which is helpful when meeting student assignment requirements (Refer to the Rules Governing Math Intervention and the Right to Read Rules for more information).
This module can be accessed by administrators under the “Human Capital” tab after logging into LEA Insights (http://insight.ade.arkansas.gov). Superintendents, principals, assistant principals and ESC directors should have immediate access. Superintendents and ESC directors can grant access to additional leadership team members who hold appropriate coordinator codes under the “Admin” tab. Teachers do not have access to the Teacher Growth Score Data and Trends module. Districts and ESC Directors should develop a process for sharing growth scores with their teachers.
Administrators can use the data found in the "Explaining the Distribution of 3-Year Average Teacher Growth Scores," presentation attached to this memo and linked in the heading of the Teacher Growth Score Data and Trends module to gain a better understanding of how a teacher's growth score compares to other teacher growth scores statewide.
Teacher Growth Score Data and Trends Webinar
