Memo Text

The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) is pleased to announce a new partnership with Care Solace, an organization dedicated to improving access to mental health care, substance use treatment and social services. Through this collaboration, all Arkansas school districts will have access to Care Solace’s care coordination services.

This initiative reflects ADE’s ongoing commitment to promoting student and staff well-being by ensuring access to mental health resources and support for all Arkansas students.

Care Solace serves as a central hub to help school districts connect students with mental health, substance use, and social service providers. A multilingual Care Companion team is available 24/7/365 to identify resources that fit each student’s unique needs and insurance requirements, and to facilitate timely appointments. Services can be accessed confidentially using a self-service search tool or through a Warm Handoff referral made by school support staff. Registration and training information for school support staff statewide will be announced soon.

ADE and Care Solace will host two statewide webinars to introduce this program and demonstrate how to access services. All are welcome to join one of the following sessions to learn more.
