The Arkansas Department of Higher Education (ADHE), in partnership with Arkansas State University-Beebe (ASU-Beebe) and the Arkansas Association of Educational Administrators (AAEA), is launching a Concurrent Credit Summer Training Pilot designed to expand access to qualified concurrent credit instructors across Arkansas high schools. This pilot provides discipline-specific professional learning aligned to Arkansas Course Transfer System (ACTS) courses and accreditor expectations. The program is designed to support high school educators in meeting qualifications to teach concurrent credit courses.
IMPORTANT: Final approval for an educator to teach a concurrent credit course remains at the discretion of the partnering institution of higher education (IHE). Participation in this training does not guarantee approval but is intended to support eligibility under institutional policies and accreditor guidelines.
