Memo Text
Effective June 30, 2022, the Arkansas studentGPS Dashboards and the Arkansas Student Intervention System (ASIS) will no longer be accessible.
Since 2013 studentGPS has provided a centralized location to access student information with the unified purpose of enabling teachers and administrators to make data-driven decisions. StudentGPS uniquely brought together data from multiple sources making access more efficient. At the same time, ASIS was launched to give educators the ability to create Intensive Reading Interventions and Academic Improvement Plans that would follow the student when they transfer to a new school. These were groundbreaking achievements provided at no cost to Arkansas schools.
Due to evolving technology, and changes enacted by ACT 930 which repealed the requirement for Academic Improvement Plans, these systems have experienced a significant decline in usage. In support of the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education’s new partnership with SmartData, the Office of Research & Technology has made the decision to sunset studentGPS and ASIS.
