The Arkansas Department of Education: Division of Career and Technical Education is pleased to announce the 2024-2025 State Start-Up Recipients. These grants are used for the purpose of implementing new Career and Technical Education programs at school districts across the state. The application process evaluates labor market information, postsecondary partnerships, and business and industry support.
This year, the department will award 28 grants across the state in 15 different pathways. These pathways are part of the High-Demand and High-Wage (H2) designated pathways, outlined earlier this spring. Implementing these pathways will equip students with the foundational skills needed to enter high-demand employment sectors in Arkansas and earn a family-sustaining wage.
