The Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) is pleased to announce the release of redesigned school and district report cards on the My School Info website at https://myschoolinfo.arkansas.gov. These new report cards reflect Arkansas’ updated accountability system and continue the state’s commitment to transparency, family engagement, and data-driven school improvement.

For the first time, ADE is publishing district letter grades, developed in accordance with the ACCESS Act (2025), which directed ADE to create a formula to determine letter grades for all public school districts and education service cooperatives.

District Letter Grades

District letter grades provide a statewide measure of overall district performance and help local leaders and communities identify academic strengths and areas for growth. District ratings are determined using the same calculation method as high schools, with the district treated as a single K–12 campus. All students within the district are included in the calculation, and the high school cut scores are applied to determine the final district letter grade. A district’s letter grade cannot be higher than the highest-performing school or lower than the lowest-performing school in that district. For more information about how district letter grades are calculated, see 2025 School & District Rating Business Rules.

District report cards now accompany school report cards on the My School Info website. Each district’s page includes its overall letter grade, performance on accountability indicators, and the letter grades for all schools within the district. For more information on where data is pulled from for the website, please see https://dese.ade.arkansas.gov/Offices/public-school-accountability/school-performance/school-letter-grade

Redesigned School Report Cards

The new school and district report cards are aligned to Arkansas’ achievement, growth, and readiness indicators. The website’s redesign makes performance data more accessible to families, educators, and policymakers.

Each report card includes two main sections. The “Letter Grade” page displays the school or district’s overall grade, color-coded comparisons to other schools statewide, and an embedded video explaining the accountability formula. It also provides detailed results by subject area, trends over time, and subgroup performance data.

The “School Info” page provides important contextual information, such as contact details, course offerings, acceleration opportunities, and high school pathway data. For more information on where data is pulled from for the website, please see https://dese.ade.arkansas.gov/Offices/public-school-accountability/school-performance/school-letter-grade

ADE has also developed professional learning resources to support educators in understanding and using accountability results. These include training modules, a comprehensive FAQ updated regularly, and an interactive Formula Dashboard that demonstrates how the nine components of the accountability formula produce each overall score.

School Recognition Awards

In addition to the release of the new school report cards on the My School Info website, Arkansas is awarding $7 million dollars to schools across Arkansas that displayed exceptional performance in student achievement and growth through the Arkansas School Recognition Program. The full list of schools who have earned rewards is available here.
