The Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) will host a webinar for district leadership to provide guidance on the development, submission, and state review of Teacher and Administrator Recruitment and Retention Plans required by Ark. Code Ann. § 6-17-1901 and § 6-17-1902. The webinar will be held virtually on May 17, 2022 at 2:30pm and will include the following:

  • Review of the recommended template for plan submission (template attached)
  • Guidance on how to access data needed to meet plan requirements
  • Overview of the process DESE will use to review plans
