For Food Service
Management Companies (FSMC) to contract with a School Food Authority (SFA) in
Arkansas Public Schools including Charter Schools, they must first register
with the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE), Division of Elementary and
Secondary Education (DESE), Child Nutrition Unit (CNU).
The registration form must
be received no later than Friday, October 7, 2022, at 4:30 p.m. Central
Standard Time (CST). Forms received after the deadline will not be
considered and these FSMCs will not be eligible to submit proposals for the
2023-2024 school year.
Annual registration is
required for FSMCs planning to contract with Arkansas schools.
Initial and complete
the attached attestation/registration form, scan it, and send it to the
following email: cnumeals.rfp@ade.arkansas.gov. The
subject line should read FSMC Registration.
A list of all
registered FSMCs will be compiled and posted to the DESE, CNU website under the
FSMC tab. This is to be used by SFAs in
their solicitation process.
