The Arkansas Department of Education's Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) offers an opportunity for community feedback on Secondary Mathematics Standards that have been revised as required by Ark. Code Ann. § 6-15-2906 with input by Arkansas educators and community members with professional experience related to the academic content area.

 

The revised Secondary Mathematics Standards for Algebra II, Algebra III, Technical Math, Quantitative Reasoning, Advanced Topics & Modeling, Statistics, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Critical Algebra I are linked below in the 2023 Revised Secondary Mathematics Standards document.

Important to know:  

These standards are in draft form and will be proposed to the State Board of Education in summer 2023. Upon approval by the Arkansas State Board of Education, the standards will be expected to be implemented in the 2024-2025 school year and thereafter.
